	Advertisement by Canada Coin Exchange in September 1951 Numismatist (American Numismatic Society) for The 1952 Catalogue of Canadian Coins, Tokens and Fractional Currency Initial Price $1.25 which was later raised to $1.50 in the December issue. The November 1952 issue of the Numismatist contained a copy of the address given by Major Sheldon S. Carroll to the A.N.A. Convention Banquet in New York City on August 20, 1952. The following excerpt conveys the feelings of Canadian collectors on the publishing of the Charlton catalogue: "Further evidence of the growth of Canadian numismatics is to be found in the happy situation where Canadian numismatic literature is again being published, in Canada. The year 1951 saw the publication of "The Catalogue of Canadian Coins, Tokens and Fractional Currency" by J. E. Charlton"

Howard ($2.25). The contents expanded slightly. List of values generally similar except for a sharp increase in Dominion of Canada issues. Mintage's include 1953

Size: 15.7 cm x 23.7 cm (6 1/8" x 9 5/16") Contains: 12 pages of line drawings with Breton numbers included (pages 5-16) (b/w). 3 pages of plates of coins of Province of Canada, Dominion of Canada (including excellent shots of the 1936 dot coinage), and Newfoundland (b/w). pages 17-19 1 plate on Queen Elizabeth II and Miscellaneous (b/w). page 20 Partial pages of plates of Official Medals (page 16) and Fractional Currency (pages 32 & 36) (b/w). Inside Back Cover: As in 1955 edition plus Canadian and Newfoundland Currency by J. A.
